I cant get the Ka to fuel (pressure actuator doesnt want to play ball). So i have decided to redoe the entire loom from the fuel ecu.I know what the throttle possition plug looks like, but what colour is the Air flow Potentiometer and Temp Sensor (RE: PIN 21 from fuel ECU - Bn/Gn)?

Pin 24 goes to "C" in the Haynes wiring diagram, whats that? dash light possibly?

Much appreciated.

new loom sounds a little OTT

Have u checked resitance between each sensor/actuator and the multiplug to the ECU?

Its not as bad as it sounds, as its only from the Fuel ECU - 13 wires to a few sensors and alike.

I had another plug that goes onto the Fuel ECU so i extended that last night while watching tele. Now today i have come to put the sensors on to it, im all done apart from the Throttle Possition sensor and Air flow Potentiometer confusing me.

The Throttle Possition sensor on the throttle body has the wires which according to haynes should be going to the Air flow Potentiometer. i.e Bn/Gn and Bn/Y and Bn wires on the Throttlepossition going to the pins that the Air flow Potentiometer should be going to.

In haynes again, it says the colours for the throttlepossition are Bn/Gn, bn/Bk and Bn if i remember correctly.

All i need to know really is which coloured plug is the Air flow Potentiometer ?

Why don't u continuity test back to the pins on the ecu plug, that will be the best way to identify them. I haven't played with my loom for a while now as ive had no need to, but im 99.9% sure the plugs are exactly the same physical shape size and colour

I thought i saw the car up for sale on ebay just the other day??? Either that or someone out there has an identical one??

When you say you can't get it to fuel what exactly do you mean? Can you give a little more info on the problem and what you have tried/tested so far?
