Default Water in Sills

just notiched the other week that my cars been making a water running noise on the passanger side, thought it could be water in the sills check the drain plugs front one is a bit shit but the back one seems fine put my finger up into the whole and it continued to run with water for about 3 mins, thought this would have got all the water out but was still the same anyway i jacked the car upto to day and its opened on the sill lip and drained a lot of water was running out for about 4 mins, what would cause so much water to get in i know i been drivng though some big pubble's (i mean big above the sills) but the water doens't seem to drain out again, does the water from the sunroof drain holes run into the sill or somthing, um any ideas on fixing the problem i was going to drill another drain hole in the sill in the middle but then this would cause a MOT failer wouldn't it any ideas chers guys.

with the ford design team being geniuses and everything, they decided to run the sunroof drainage pipes down into the unpretected sills.....

if you take the rear doorcards off mate, youll see the hoses, either chop them down and stick them through the little drainage grills below the door latch, or drill (or poke....) a hole in the sills and pop the pipe through the hole.

Cheers mate, Sounds about right for ford, cool i'll have a go at re-directing them, why don't the fookers drain anyway, the holes seem clear enough could just be the sills warped in the middle i suppose.

Also won't drilling a hole in the sills make it fail the fooking mot

could have been blocked up by waxoil (you hope!) or it could be clogged with shit and bits of rusty goodness!

and no, drilling a hole wont make it fail the mot, as youve drilled through solid metal, but a rust hole will fail because its rusted and is therefore weakend.
