17" Comp MO's on RS1600i road / track car
do 17" wheels catch on mk3 escorts, when theyve been lowered a bit?
not sure on how low it will be but it will have rose jointed and coilover suspension front and rear, multipoint weld in cage thru to front strut tops, as well as weld in front and rear strut braces, and also be corner weighted.
and do they have any detrimental effects on the handling? or is that something i dont need to be worrying about?

should b ok with the coilovers mate, mines just on koni's with gmax springs and i dont have any probs and thats with a 40mm drop, only thing it can suffer with handling wise is a bit of tramlining but i think u could solve that if u went for a 7j wheel instead of 7.5 like mine

the worst i get is a bit of scrub on the back on a couple of really shitty speed humps near me but other than that its fine, are you set on getting mo's ?
I tried 17's on my 16i and it handled wank, the rear was ultra skippy. The problem with Mk3's is altho it's independant rear susp it only has a small amount of movement so it's pretty sensitive to changes
16's were ok but 15's were better.
