matt, people get that EVERY YEAR, its an incentive to get your to renew rather than ditch and use another provider, you're not being given special treatment

Matt
A year ago i would have agreed with you about the 3 coverage
Wife got one then and it was shite for a short while but soon improved. They now have 80 odd percent coverage and the deal is cheaper than anyone else! I have been with o2 for 5 years and have been on the 400 min tariff for years but with 3 i get nearly double the mins for less money and they only charge 25p a min to other networks if you go over your free mins unlike o2 that charge 35p!
So far with the 3 phone i have had no connection problems at all and also get free internet and can do video calls etc....

So if you're already on contract with them, you just phone them up and you get a(nother) new handset?

The reason they are doing it is because they are trying to tie you in on an 18 month contract! They are no doubt losing customers to other networks such as 3 because of the deals they are offering.

gracey, pick up the phone in the shop, put it to your head, then realise its FOOKIN HUGE and looks stupid.

then remember the camera is so shite its useless, and that TOUCH SCREENS on things you rest against your cheek are asking for problems.

plus the fact it CRASHES (mid phone calls ) and has a nasty habit of not answering your calls and showing you who's calling

oh and you'll be lucky to get the battery to last a day without needing charing

yep, great phone

bought a nokia9300 to replace it... thats really good as a phone aswell...
...apart from the fact that 50% of the time the other person CAN'T HEAR YOU

jim, get an mda compact or imate jam, upgrade the rom and radio to v1.13 and do bigstorage (hence no extended rom)

done this to mine, upgraded from both 1.01 radio and os, and the call quality is AMAZING. Also not having ANY aftermarket cabs ran on it, its a pure windows 2003se device.
