Default Hot ERST

Another question from me

My rs never overheats, the temp is pretty stable, but, the under bonnet temps are stupid, even the slam panel gets hot, thats off a normal, short run, am pretty sure they shouldnt get this hot?

I have added some bonnet chocks, raised it up around 1", but its still pretty hot in there, wondering if there is anything i can check or replace that would make it cooler?

Where is the thermostat on these? thinking about changing it, just incase.

Also, people talk about charge temps, how do you get these? is there a gauge & fitting kit i can use? where do you get the reading from?

Cheers

most RST's run stupidly hot, do you have a temperature gauge other than on the clocks? best to go by something more accurate if you're worried about temps.

as for ACT's there are loads of gauges about, try ebay....

Only what came with the car.

Didnt think it would run so hot to heat the slam panel up though?

Can you give me some ideas as to what i should look for please?

Does the crossover pipe not hinder ATC's?

Is there any way of cooling this pipe down? heat wrap or similar?
