AS ABOVE I KNOW SOMONE LOCAL THAT IS BREAKING A MK6 RS2000 BUT WAS UNSURE IF THE LATER ESCORT SHAFTS WILL ALSO TRANSFER OVER TO THE MK4 SHELL AS THEY MIGHT BE TOO LONG OR TO BIG IN DIAMETER TO PLUG INTO THE OUTER HUBS OR IS THERE ANY OTHER UNFORSEEN PROBLEMS THAT I HAVNT THOUGHT OF

 

No OE shafts are a direct fit. Some welding or fabrication will be needed in any case.

 

Cutting and welding of the inner wing.
Fabrication of new engine mounts or engine mounts and cradle
Gear linkage for the MTX75 ( A friend thats a fabricator make's quick shifts for this box aswell )
Fabriction of drive shafts
And i think thats it?

 

so in all a bit of a nighmare then oh well bang goes that idea
