Have you tried "Carol Nash" insurance brokers. They deal with quite a few classic car insurers. I got a good deal with my Series 1 under a classic policy because its 20 years old. Their definately worth a try.

Hi Cossywal,

Provided you are over 21 and the vehicle is standard we can look to offer classic car cover.

If it's modified we can use a custom car policy, which is a cross between a classic and modified vehicle policy.

The vehicle would have to be a 2nd car and the rates are better if you can limit the mileage.

You'll also receive the Passion ford club discount that we offer.

Kind regards

Tony

Tony,
I tried to get a quote off Greenlight and they said it was to modified and would more likely to be more than i was paying now,
i pay £504 FC 10000 mile p/y and its my 2nd car,
the car has nitrous but for track days only, (i declare this as it is fitted to the car)

You recon you could help me????
