Where would you go to get a loan?

Please nobody say "The Bank"!!!

Just wondered if anyone knew of anywhere offering good rates on loans upto about £10000. For my mate to pay off his TT (Loser!!)

see th b*** manager and arrange a low interest overdraft for the short term.

might be 2% over base.

by putting your wages in there every month the interest ammount would vary and should work out quite cheap.

tesco are good, i wanted a 15 grand loan at 5.8% worked out that id have to pay back 17450 quid which aint bad

Being self employed, I am limited to where I can get a loan from at a good rate, my Bank (Barclays) offered me a £25k loan if I wanted without even asking.

Sometimes it is best to try your own bank, it is certainly easier.

This site will search all the major loan lenders and brings back the figures.

You can change the details of amount borrowed, amount of payments etc and it will re-calculate the figures.


Cahoot always seem to be at the top of the list.
