Just had a call from the Pod, my mate has done a 12.3 @ 116 in his Nova.

Thats deffo woithout NOS, and I know hes only just put another engine in, to the best of my kowledge its with a standard bottom end!

Appartently a 2.0 sec 60ft, but thats to be confirmed....

Well done, thats an awesome time in a FWD car he uses every day!

True JR!

I think it prooves a point that a well setup car for the strip can do a good time!

Mine and his engines are not that for apart (same injectors, management, fuel pump, just turbo thats slightly bigger on his), but mine is not setup for the strip at all. 1.2 secs difference in time!

I must get it strip ready one day to see what it could do. Diff, stripped, up with the back end!

theres a limit to what you can do though, either go balls out for the strip, or make a compremise

All he does is change his springs on the rear, and put a few bits and bobs back in.

I remember one night when he came back from Pod and came straight out. We were racing him in one of our mates dads X-Type jags, pushing him hard, and he spun it braking for a rounderboud, was funny as fook!

Lucky not to bump it quite hard!

awesome We dont really have people interested in drag fwd in ford scene. Ive added extra sound proofing, and the rear is slightly lower at the back for handling, so shit on strip...

Some FWD fords have done some impressive times! Sunny did IIRC?

I'm sure in his new setup it will be setting new targets!

Paul R's 12's were cool with under 250hp
