was running fine prior to what EVERS gone down this time(felt as though the fuel switch in the boot had been activated but it hasn't as the pump is still primeing etc) BUT the injectors are NOT pulsing while engine is being cranked over!

n e suggestions as to what sensor if n e it could be.

 

Check the crank sensor first - look for dirt or oil on the sensor face.

 

will have a check to see over the w/end HOPEFULLY

 

crank sensor and then phase sensor - defintaely an engine speed sensor thats failed if you are getting no injection pulses.


my moneys on the phase sensor - dunno why tho, it just sounds promising

 

Odd, have a look at the phase sensor...

The ECU deffinately KNOWS the engine is turning over because the fuel pump is running on cranking.

 

i had this exact problem one year ago, and it was a shitty CTS.
