Advice needed, re. light's in garage

i have 8 5ft tubes
but not sure what sequence i want them to come on,
i have attached a diagram but just not sure which to have,
basically i dont want all the lights coming on at once, as that just a blantent waste of electric
what's your opinions???

Switch 1 = Master over all others ( so you can leave the others switched in a particular combination)
Switch 2 = Over the bench or "Dead" end of garage ( most likely to be on and its easier to walk towards a lit area.
Switch 3 = alternate left or right of each of the other three rows
Switch 4 = opposites of switch 3
Have you only got 1 door for access?

If your gonna do all that then make sure you put in some decent dayllight tubes as well
