They have given me the option to cancel my order and have my £3k deposit back and if I can find a suitable alternative thats available now I am going to cancel the order.

Not a rip off in the slightest.
You get what you pay for in this world.
You simply cannot compare Koni's standard offerings to Ohlins. They're a world apart.
That said, Ohlins are a waste of money on a road car imo.
The average driver won't notice the difference between Ohlins and other well set up coilovers.

I do wish I had some, Ohlins ROCK!
I'd love to have bought your ones because unlike I would spend the money on them that they need to have to work properly and then get them fitted and set up by a pro!
AND THEN USE THEM ON THE TRACK!
You might as well buy some shonky Gaz

Jim Galbally,
you make a set then!
really pisses me off comments like this,, maybe making the product dont cost £3000+, but they have spent 000000's on developing the the product (including the manufactoring methods) how should they gain this money back?
do you think gaz has spent this much money on developing there products,
this is a golder rule of life, and can be applied 99% of the time
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
still a fookin rip off surely, just for a bit of metal and oil!

Jim Galbally, what suspension has your car got? Surely it doesn't have any of these "bit's of metal with oil" if that's all they are. Wise up man, sound's like envy...
Eagle Systems, Ohlins is just a superior suspension to most, if not all other companies.
However, in the motocross world they are starting to lag, the new Kayaba's on the 2006 Yamaha YZ / YZf model's are better than Ohlins. Ok, I'll shut up about this irrelevant motocross...
