I can do better than tell you :

Also, if you got the data link cable added to your loom connection, you can download 90 minutes worth of datalogging to a lap top (I have the software for this if required).

Injector duty cycle, no parameter, 0 is unused / 100% is flat out

Only ever seen the ignition in positive values

CO pot doesn't really affect us on P8 as it's not trimmable on the ECU (except certain early versions of P8)

Fuel is fuel delivery in milliseconds

NOTE: boost value is absolute.

I'm still half asleep so forgive me if I've bolloxed any of that up, lol.

Just a thought, it might be because they were trying to get the most out of the amount of logging memory available (memory was quite expensive back then ), if you add a "-" infront of the boost value you are wasting some of the available memory space, so less logging time, however it's quite easy to manipulate these values in excel (once you've downloaded the data) to display the boost as you'd prefer to see it.

Nope, its because all pressure is termed absolute.

Why do you think a 2bar sensor is called a 2bar sensor when it can only see a bar of boost? Same for 3,4 and 5bars. Anyone think, marelli, bosch, lucas and maybe Siemens are also twats who dont have a clue?

The terminology is correct, its ONLY the automotive world that somehow made an arse of it "Boost" is simply pressure over and above atmosphere,a nd atmosphere is approx 1bar. Thus .1bar of boost is actually 1.1bar absolute.

There.

Sorry Dame, i dont think im quite grasping what your asking as you seem to have answered yourself

That 2.6m is the injectors opening for 2.6ms.
The amount of fuel delivered obviously depends on nozzle size, fuel pressure and inlet tract pressure/depression.

There.
It is also deemed that in Diving Thus the largest Pressure change is with in the first 33ft approx because that is double the pressure of the atmospheric pressure at sea level hence the term atmospheres absolute

Slightly of topic but................... i am feeling smart tonight so please forgive a few indulgences

Damo, I did say I was half asleep

I think Dave probably means the cable from the unit to the Pectel loom - Mike R could possibly have sorted that as R&B did mine

Betcha don't have a peak recall facility

....and I had it before Mike

It is actually quite useful, and caught out my bro-in law's over enthusiastic driving once

Dave, what was your power & torque again, can't find your graph's?

Mike has a Pectel monitor in his car. He also sells SECS monitors that have similar (but not quite as much) functionality.
