i have a mint radiant red s2 rst shell it was a full car that was bare metal painted 2 years ago it had new front and rear panels new boot lid and new bonnet the underside has been took back to bare metal and is just a rolling shell its had 8 owners and theres no history

is it worth anything

IF its rust free i'd say yes it is,have you a log book for it????Don't know whats it worth myself but could be handy for someone doing a reshell of there rusty RST.Regards Micky

It's only worth what someone would be willing to pay
I'd say it was of course worth something as there will always be people who want a shell because the one they have right now is rotten or just not worth spending money on it

the shell is very mint requires 2 little holes in both rear corners off the floor and a little repair to the sunroof tray. ive realy gone to town on looking for rot as was (still might ) going to go near concourse with it but stripped out slag

its worth wot your willing to accept,if someone offers you a ton and you think fair-enough then alls happy,but if your wanting more a ball park figure is fair to advertise,depends how soon you want rid,collection,or delivery,and how long your prepared to wait for the right buyer to turn up(getting what you want),if its a geniune shell,rsturbs,and you have no papers,then is the rs shell stronger in places than a normal escort of the same year?you could point that out to show its genuine,up to you.

i reckon if its mint u could ask as much as u want really coz some1 could look at it in the way that it would be cheaper to reshell their car into youirs than goin into a bodyshop and gettin a full respray. i reckon u could ask Ł800 maybe if it was mint as a mint thing thats just been minted

 

come on people need this shell gone but dont want to scrap it . this shell is in very good condition. make me an offfer

sorry for my absolute complete lack of bodywork bla bla bla knowledge here but why is the underside like that? has it not been done yet?it would prob sell alot better if it was all pretty much finished ready to assemble

im actually after a new shell in radiant red ready to transfer all my cars stuff over to. how much were u thinkin of askin for it?

 

winston stripped the underside with the intention of getting it painted in 2 pack to match the top coat.
not sure on price, but as well as the shell there is the body kit bonnet & 90 spec bumper & spoiler.
