WILL AN L6 ECU PLUG STRAIGHT INTO A 3 DOOR

Default WILL AN L6 ECU PLUG STRAIGHT INTO A 3 DOOR

Ive Have been told that an L6 ECU is more refined and better than the original L1 ECU in a 3dr so wondered if it's just a straight swap or does anything need changing?

Won't the standard chip in the L6 run the 3dr then?

It may well do, but when i fitted a L6 in my 3DR i had a new chip fitted

Thanx 4 replies,will see about locating an L6 now as it obviously wont cause probs and will hopefully help the car run better
