Default Help needed with s2

Hi.

I have several problems with my s2 and would be grateful of any help.

The first problem is that it's like a snail when I pull away in 1st, or slow down and then accelerate in 2nd gear. It's just so lazy to pick up any revs, you'd think I was towing someone. However, is does pick up when the car eventually reaches towards 2000rpm.

The second problem is that after recently fitting (all new) 4 pot calipers, slightly larger than standard disks (drilled/grooved) and braided brake hoses (front/rear), I can't get a decent brake pedal.
The pedal just is'nt firm enough, and the car takes longer to stop.
I've bled the system twice (no air bubbles present) and it's a bit better, but it's still bad (when bleeding, the pedal was realy slow in returning to the top). I've also checked there are no leaks.

I'm stuck with a car that does'nt go and does'nt stop

I would be grateful of any help.

Hi.

Thanks ballin.
I realise that they can be a bit slow off boost, but mine is ssllooww off boost. It really is that bad. When pulling away from lights it's a nightmare, every other car (even old scrappers) can pick up speed quicker than me.

Thanks micky.
I've tried to find that post, but with no luck.

Any help and advice is most welcome. Thanks.
