Default Tools needed to remove steering wheel hub on Sapphire

There's a big nut in the middle, which I can remove but it's still stuck fast, was wondering if I needed to get a puller/slide hammer???

Any advice appreciated!

the big nut is the only thing holding it on. give it a bang on the back with your palms and it should fly off (right into your kisser )

undo the nut to sit's not tight BUT it still needs to be on the threads for around half their length
then, give it some thwumps from behind with the palms of your hands, it may need a few good ones and it'll pop out

the reason you leave the nut on is so that it doesn't break your face when it comes flying off

if you are talking about the non adjustable column, they have a bolt (though it may be the other way around)

also put have the ignition key in so the steering lock is off or that'll hold it too!
