How old is that data, as the Bugatti veyron has been around since 2002?

Its an 8 litre W16 Engine

 

Maybe in concept or prototype form, but its not due for release until next year. Still testing it now.

I know its never been anywhere near 300 MPH. ??

aledgedly its limited to 250 odd... you can have a bugatti engineer come to you to delimit it, and fit different tyres, aswell as change the "map" a litttle, to carry out a 400odd KPH run, they will then put it all back to the normal tyres, speed limit and map etc ...... Oh to have $700,000

 

That was from the latest CAR magazine, they are the only people to have been in it yet.
