I'm getting a creaking noise every now and then when I turn my steering wheel to the left on my RST, anyone got any idea what it could be?

I get that on my XR2............ thought it was my ball joints until I changed them yesterday and its still there.

Thing is, now the fooking steering wheels got an erratic wobble between 40mph and 50mph (not took it over that yet as only been on innercity roads and not the m/way) I am worried about the motorway ride homw

And yes........... I made sure it was all tight

 

I've got the same on mine as well at the moment. Getting it checked out tonight but it's probably gonna be wheel bearings on the way out or cv joint on way out. I'll let you know what mine turns out to be tomorrow.
