Can you get aftermarket pipes (eg samco) for your std oil cooler for a series 2 rst as mine are in a very bad state they keep spliting at end when you do up clip.or are they still available from ford and any prices??????????

should be still available jon, i brought one a few months ago

dont do the clips up so tight either as they will keep splitting

 

i enquired about a month or so back and they said they were discontinued for the time being i have had to by-pass the oil cooler and everything is still running fine

at national day i bought a second hand pipe as well as some others for emergency from a breaker...only a fiver

The little 's' shaped hose between the cooler and manifold split on my car just as we were coming off the sliproad into TRAX last year! Managed to find one in the show and it got me home

Last time i enquired Samco do not include this hose in the ancillary kit however, SFS do

 

Bought a full set of water pies including the oil cooler ones brand new from my local ford dealer about three months ago mate. Sometimes they have to cheak twice on there computers cos ive found found they lie sometimes. So u should be able to get some new ones mate!

 

Roose Motorsport also make them mate...

 

can you lads remind me where the oil cooler pipes connect on to?im fitting an frst efi to an orion ghia and cant decide which hose is which also where does the water return from the turbo go?
