i want to delock my boot on m,y rs turbo escort. but the central locking isnt working.
what i want to do is a cable with a lever by the drivers chair whicjh will pop it open.

any ideas how you do this??

i got this mate...simple switch job

i try and take few pics to show u how its dun. put a button on ur centre console and its easy to run it to the bootlock.

use a 2i or similar boot popper and to wire it up use the c/l wiring to save u getting more wires thru the gromets (just as a bridge, u'd use the wire from a button in the shell and wire from c/l wires to the popper in the bootlid section)

i did on the estate by using the speaker wiring
