i know it aint easy mate, but just take things of and refit them starting from outside
as long as you memorise where it came from etc, you should be ok,
i managed to take engine out and refit with out any experience
(with a little help from a mate)

I have just put an rst engine in a fiesta mk2 and had to take engine from both cars and re fit into the mk2 fiesta and do the loom etc having never removed an engine before i can say this is quite straight forward, i also had no engine hoist all i had was a set of axle stands a jack and a set of steelies done everything all by myself.

If you had a driveway or could push both cars to a private car park i rekcon you could do it in no time especialy as both cars are identicle and you already have loom in there

£1200 for a simular job i must be in the wrong trade

Good luck with the reshell, is the best feeling in the world when u do it yourslef and can stand back and say "i did this"

Haven't got engine done yet lol

I want something different

For starters, studd that can be done without engine in it

Brake lines, fuel lines
Electircs all sorted and working sweet
Just as long as everything is done bar the engine, I'll be happy
