people bung em in mk1/2 escorts so i see no reason it wouldnt fit in a sierra 
you'd probably need the same kinda conversion bits the oldskool people use, like the remote thermostat housing n stuff n adapters for the gearbox n stuff...
have a look in the burtons catalog for most of these bits

what jim is saying is that on the zetec the stat and everything is at the wrong end for RWD and it will be in the bulk head - so there is a kit to remote locate it so this doesnt happen... also the pipes for the rad etc come from the back.
the clutch and lfywheel would be ok from the zetec i would of thought.
note sure how the engine mounts work either mind

I was looking in the burtons book who list Zetec flywheels for RWD use..
Just thinking out loud really.. To much hassle really.. get a 2.9 and be done with it me thinks
