Default Zetec Sierra

Will a Zetec lump go in a 1.8 CVH sierra? If i got an adapter plate it would run on a carb wouldn't it?

people bung em in mk1/2 escorts so i see no reason it wouldnt fit in a sierra

you'd probably need the same kinda conversion bits the oldskool people use, like the remote thermostat housing n stuff n adapters for the gearbox n stuff...

have a look in the burtons catalog for most of these bits

what you mean james?

what jim is saying is that on the zetec the stat and everything is at the wrong end for RWD and it will be in the bulk head - so there is a kit to remote locate it so this doesnt happen... also the pipes for the rad etc come from the back.

the clutch and lfywheel would be ok from the zetec i would of thought.
note sure how the engine mounts work either mind

If the Sierra and Escort CVH flywheels are the same (clutch bolts on in the same way on both) then the Zetec flywheel and clutch will be fine.
