i am on fitting a t34 turbo to my 2wd saff cos and im puzzled on how do you get the bracket which holds the turbo damper, off the wastegate?

 

M8 you mean the centre ring with the hole in it right if so don't your t34 have one already??...
if not then is the t34 u got for a 4wd manifold?

If the T34's of an Escos or Saff 4x4 then it WONT have a ring for a damper as they DONT have one from standard

to remove the one of your standard old turbo just undo all the 13mm bolts around the hsing and rotate hsing and it will slip off! you will also have to make a bracket for the actuator and rotate the hsing to suit!

 

i had orderd a t34 for my saff and the place i got it from forgot to put the turbo damper bracket on iv rang them and they are sending me a bracket.Thanx for your help folks

 

just make sure u mark the hsing on the turbo when you undo the bolts to fit the bracket and all WILL be good!
