help please loom?
Hello all
I have put a rst engine mfi into another car, im trying to prime the turbo but its not working, i have conected the fuel pump as this is lowd so i can hear if igntion is working properly.
I have got it at the mo so that i can prime the fuel pump by taking off the pink fuel relay cover and pushing the conectors togther with my hand.
But when i try this by turning the igntion i get nothing;-(
Any sugestions i know it could be quite a few;-(
Also i have a yellow conector which should go under the manifold somewhere but i can not find where anyone have a pic for this mayeb this is why the fuel pump isnt priming?
Many thank Paul.

Now then fella, does the starter motor turn when when u try and fire the engine?
If u have not primed the turbo with oil first u should not run the engine.
Take the king lead off the middle of the coil so the engine will not start, and slaken the oil feed union off the turbo and turn the engine over on the starter motor untill the oil comes out of the union. Tighten the oil feed union back up and turn the engine over again this should create oil pressure in the engine, and feed oil into the turbo unit!
This will prevent turbo damage by starving the turbo of oil when u fire the engine up from scratch.
