I'm listening to the tennis on the net. EastEnders is jsut depressing, I gave up watching it years ago. In fact the only people I know who watch it are miserable. Get off your ass and do something with your life fatty.

Last time I saw it, someone died, franks daughter was on drugs, on the game, stealing money. Some woman was getting a beating from some guy who was abusing her. I dont know anyones life that resembles what goes on in that square! Maybe the idea is that its either a comedy (very dark one at that!) or you feel so bad about it that your own life is a gem in comparison and you feel great! Either way its just mindless sensationist BS.

If Sport of any description is on, tennis for example, and it's blokes playing, then it's a hardcore battle of strength and courage between two samson-like men at the top of their game.

If women are playing, then it's a short skirt perv session, covered up by the fact that it's hosted in a sporting environment.

Eastenders is just loads of people who probably accurately represent the average Brit, sitting around shouting things like "alright luv!", and ""don't be stupid girl!" - absolute nonsense. Everybody in it is related to each other, and they are all miserable 100% of the time.

Women - don't understand the irony of watching others being miserable in order to make themselves feel better
