I used Sanspeed for Cam Timing. Total waste of time. I wouldn't use anyone in our area TBH. There is also Race Power Motorsport but again not heard great things (though I haven't personally used them) but I saw one of their heads in pieces literally.

TBH Paul Hills is closish or Take the drive up the M1 to Karl.

What about Dartford Tuning. They are Bosch Dealer and know lots about K-Jet/Ke-jet. They aint big tuners like karl etc but they know standard perfomance cars very well. I'm definetly sure they have all the gear for K/Ke-jet.

thats what i like to hear... if you cant find the problem, dont charge the customer... (cept beer money for trying)

got something to try tonight that MWF just suggested, but even if it cures it, the car still needs a professional setup

Jim i'ver heard the same as what the lads are saying about Sanspeeds & Racepower, to eger on getting the ŁŁŁ in the till and not enough TLC spent on the customer or the car!

ok rich, if you had a customers car come in and spent ages changing things and it turned out not to fix it etc. would you still charge them for this work?

say someone had a dodgy coolant temp sensor on their cossie, and you changed the ECU, injectors, fuelpump, iscv etc. etc. trying to spot the problem... when you finally realise that it was the CTS all along would you still charge them for the extra work caused by your own incompetence?

ps this is ALL hypothetical i am not in ANY WAY implying rich or SCC have ever or would ever do this

if the mechanic doesnt have sufficient skill/technical knoledge to properly diagnose a fault then this shouldnt mean the customer gets charged more ŁŁŁ whilst they try things. i mean if you did it would mean the shit mechanics earn more than the good mechanics, as the shit mechanic spends more time on the car so gets more money if they on an hourly rate thats why i beleive a lot in fixed pricing stuff like kwikfit n stuff... as that way even if you get some newbie aprentice that takes 2 hours to change a wheel, you sill dont get charged extra...
