NOVA GTE 2.0 16v - **NOW SOLD**
1990 Red Nova GTE with 2.0XE engine fitted.
Car has 54K and I have all the old MOT's to back this up.
Engine came from 1990 Astra GTE 16v and that had approx 90k. Engine is in good condition and is very quiet - even from cold. Its doesnt smoke either and pulls very well.
Engine is standard apart from a full stainless scorpion exhaust and a K&N cone filter.
It has a seam welded engine bay and also a group N streathening kit. It runs motorsport drive shafts and 16v inner and outer CV joints.
It runs 283mm front disc's with Calibra Turbo calipers and the brake lines are all braided - thats master cylinder back.
Suspension is a fast road Apexi kit with new ball joints and tie rods.
The body work is good for the year but there is rust on the bottom of one wing and on each door. The rear arches are solid but the paint slightly cracked on one sided where the previous owner put wheels that were to big on the car.
The paint comes up good with a polish but the front wings are slightly a different colour!
The car has 11 and half months MOT and went through first time!!
This is quick, reliable car that handles well and stops well but a new project forces the sale.

Hi Guys been to look at the car.. isn't what I wanted unfourtunatly...
but I can confirm it drives, is quick, sounds glorious and will make you smile like you wouldn't believe, stops well and is worth every penny....
The condition of the car is as Gary describes and to be honest doesn't actually need any money spending on it to drive it away (apart from Tax lol).
I'll also add that Gary told me its had a new clutch in the last few months or so....
Bargain and worth more in bits.

Thats totally untrue and unfair.. I looked at the pics, thought I have a spare grand if I like it I'll buy it.. The car is exactly as advertised, totally, it drives nice and is just as I said it was, I just decided it wasn't the car for me.
The reason I put that post on is so no one thinks its not as advertised because I didn't buy it esp as it was quite obvious I was the person going to look at it.
I was totally fair with Gary, he's a nice lad and for 1100 quid the car is the right price in my opinion.
Just because I didn't buy it doesn't mean theres somet wrong with it at all.. cuz there isn't. Believe me if there was somet up with it or it wasn't as advertised I would be the first person to say as I don't know Gary at all and don't like to see people get ripped off.
That car is cheap as chips and an ideal daily driver or run about or track toy.
No offence intended either.

i cant believe nobodys been and brought this ive drove 1 and fook me there quick my mate used to have a stripped out nove with a 16v in and i shit you not it could tale my other mates cossie at 145 there quick as and its peanuts aswell
