Mine are the same as Paul R's ones. They are called grp4 conversion nuts. Well they are on mine as i have grp4 type wheel but with normal wheel studs. West wales rally spares do them for about Ł2.80 each
Marcos ones look like the ones for mk2 escorts with RS 4 spoke alloys

Ryan,

Normal studs are M12 x1.5..grp'a' wheels are bored at 18mm to sit on a sleeve with a M14 x 1.5 stud the grp'a' nuts as everyone is calling then are od 18mm id is standard m12, whats the problems you have?

I have loads of these nuts going spare if someome wants some....

Regards

Ian

Ian,

basically i've been offered some bells which are off a rally car so the stud hols are bored out to 18mm. AP 330 bells.

The problem i have is need them at standard side to fit my centre lock hubs.

So i wanted to fit collets in the bells to make them fit. I.e either soemthing that a machine shop knocks up or something simliar.

so basically what i was thinking was taking some grp A wheel nuts down to a machine shop and getting them to cut the end off so i have a 6mm collet.

decent alloy rod would be easier imo, shame your not closer could have knocked em up in no time, could you not sleeve the wheel studs with an interference fit sleeve made of steel? or do you want to use different wheels at diferent times?

i can send you the bell ian? Its a bog standard bell though? i.e i could give you all the necessary measurements?

its pretty simple what i want. I need a washer the same thickness as the bell and with a OD of GRP A and an internal OD of a standard wheel stud.

So in essense i need metal "hola hoops" pmsl

Will be using 2 different sets of wheels on minw. Slicks & Road.

The only prob in making them may be if there is any differences bell to bell I can work off some I have here as long as yours are the same, really the fit could do with being pressed fit you dont want em moving under braking i'll knock some up this week and send em down but i'll make tight ooo er missus....

Regards

Ian the centerlock hub sandwiches the bell beween itself and the original hub.

So that would be perfect.

Let me know how much i owe you and we'll settle up once we meet

This is how the centrelock hubs mount.

Marco, Tony (nuts) and Richard Pon thanks for the replies.

Ponster, my wheels are not for sale but I will PM you the details of the chap that I purchased them from. He has approx 30 of them for sale with tyres (Perrelli rally slicks and intermediates).....He is quite expensive, and a pain to deal with also, he wants to sell the wheels WITH tyres only..........at approx Ł 200 each......worth a try IMO, especially if the slicks are of use to you.

All mine are shot blasted and ready for painting now:
