Default What is it about the 4x4 plenum elbow thats restrictive?

I know this has been covered before, but why is the 4x4 cossie plenum chamber elbow restrictive in its power output??

due to its size i reckon, the internal dimensions only allow a certain ammount of air to flow at a given pressure,

I take it Monday is ok with you to have it recollected then And they told me 12-4pm so if they get there before 12 and your not there they WILL have to go back to yours And just wrap it up in News Paper and tape thats good enough

no worries alan, i'll get it wrapped..

they came just after 9am mate.. lucky my g/f was in as she was gonna go out for the morning!

can you get them to hold to a time please mate (ie what period of the day)?

Well i was told 12 to 4pm so if they turn up before that then they have to return after 12 (thats who it worked when i was delivering and collecting) But will find out m8

might be a bit of a distribution thing as well?

As unless you use a spacer it looks to me like it would not supply the cylinders evenly in such a small size of plenum, but thats just from looking i dont actually have any specific cossie 4wd experience of it to base it on im afraid, im just going by how it looks and what ive learnt from other engines.

one of the tuners will give a better answer.

I have modified my Dad's and another for a friend of mine. I also know of another Cos in the North West with a modified plenum elbow but on a small turbo Escort Cossie plenum.

These are the best pictures we have....
