We found out why Robs car "only" ran a 12.6@121mph
The idle control valve was leaking like mad on boost, so the car was badly overfuelling at the time (as the black smoke in the photos confirms, lol)
It was actually spluttering a little on the strip, but it pulls perfectly cleanly now.
Its definately not useable power on normal road tyres though, i took it out last night to check it over and when the gas came on in 5th it was lighting the tyres up, not much use having that sort of power when you can only use it in 6th gear really!
So the gas is really only any good on trackday tyres or drag radials now.
Going to be interesting to see what it does at the Pod now its all working 100% correctly.

Mike, this was on "normal" road tyres, there is plenty of traction on decent tyres.
Also we have a quaiffe diff for it, but it wasnt fitted in time, so that will bring the spinning down one gear probably.
FWD and mega power is always going to be an issue for traction though of course.
