Oil leaking through the distributor
It should be possible. I tried to strip down a dizzy a while ago but the pin that holds the dizzy drive on was more than a little tight to say the least!!! Once that is off then the shaft should come out and you can replace the seals inside. In theory.....

think i have got the same problem, there is two seals on the dizzy, there is an O ring which normally leaks which is easily replaceable, however there is an internal seal which causes oil to leak into the dizzy cap, i understand that the internal seal in the dizzy isnt a DIY job and requires the distrubutor to be reconditioned!!
It's the internal seal I'm talking about. The oil will not only leak into the cap but will exist through a hole on the underside of the distributor. I've also noticed the pin that locks the shaft is pretty tight.
