dont know really but my engine is t34 7.2cr cams greys 2bar mapped by kenny. its in dax rush though so you cant fit a decent intercooler.

got custom made charge cooler by ARE in ausssie with a 17" square prerad sits in front of the 17" square engine rad with an electric pump and a 9 litre storage tank.

thrashed the fook out of it round croft and the water temp got to 10 degs above ambient (max water temp was 33 degs), and the charge cooler is very efficcient at removing heat from the charge air.

mind the charge cooler is a monster!

dont know if the above helps but im pissed anyway an just pulled this tasty bit if i knew how to postt pics up id show you some shots of the ccoler and her

you can't say this power or that power.

depending on what turbo you're using, and what the compression ratio is, the air out of the compressor and into the i/c will be a certain temperature. the i/c can then cool that down by a certain amount, depending on the mass flow of air through the coil, and over the coil (and the temperature of the air over the coil).

for example, if you have a small turbo producing 2 bar of boost on a 2 litre engine, you may have a power of say 350bhp. because the turbo is small, it will be working hard to make that power and the i/c inlet temperature will be very high.

if you have the same 2 litre engine, but a bigger turbo that is producing that same 350bhp at just 1 bar will have a much lower temperature (even though the mass flow of air through the engine and i/c will be about the same), so the i/c will be able to cool it to a lower temperature at the outlet.
