How much work/money to repair...

Hi all,
I've been offered an RS Turbo for a few hundred quid because its an MOT failure:
It failed its MOT on:
Nearside Front Lower Panel Corroded within 12" of the bar mounting. Nearside Front Inner Wing Corroded within 12" of Suspension.
Nearside and Offside rear outer sills corroded within 12" of suspension mounting.
Nearside Front Chassis Corroded within 12" of Suspension Mounting.
The car would be getting a respray anyway - but i want to get some idea of how difficult it'd be to get those failure points repaired. I know a decent welder so that's not a problem

if your talking Ł300-Ł400 it's worth that just to brake and the sills and that are cheap if the welder is any good he should'nt find it hard to do id give that for it. got to be worth that in bits
i love welding me . had plenty of practise owning mk3 escorts all my life
easy to do the welding you mentioned m8 wont cost alot . worth getting id say and welding up if the engines not to bad or break it if the engines shot

Everything on it's a minter - apart from the underside where there are a few bits of rot...
I ended up giving Ł1000 for it cos its got:
Konis
Cossie disc conversion front and back
Brand new alloys
Fully Re-conned engine
Everything above's done less than 150miles
Just need to get the welding done now
