I've been offered an RS Turbo for a few hundred quid because its an MOT failure:
It failed its MOT on:
Nearside Front Lower Panel Corroded within 12" of the bar mounting. Nearside Front Inner Wing Corroded within 12" of Suspension.
Nearside and Offside rear outer sills corroded within 12" of suspension mounting.
Nearside Front Chassis Corroded within 12" of Suspension Mounting.
The car would be getting a respray anyway - but i want to get some idea of how difficult it'd be to get those failure points repaired. I know a decent welder so that's not a problem
