Hi ya guys,

I have remote central locking on my F plate S2 (via a random maked alarm) went to lock the car tonight and the central locking isnt working

I can manually lock both doors by key, however the drivers door will not unlock from the outside (I am not sure if this has been the case for a while, as I normally always use the key fob rather than manually locking the car).

A very quiet "click" noise can be heard from inside the car (possibly coming from around the drivers side footwell) when u attempt to lock the doors via the key-fob.

Ideas ???

ive got this problem as well m8 hope someone has the solution, in my case its the locking part the alarm wont do, it will bloody unlock it

 

the clicking noise from the footwell will be the remote locking relay, check the fuses, also a common fault is the earth wire behind the drivers side speaker, the wires running between the car body and the door can sometimes break as well, check all these things, its just a matter or elimination!!!
