Default Zetec Crank Pulley- Urgent

My crank pulley has become noisey. I took he belt off and it seems to have movement. Is there a rubber damper as part of it behind or something?

Luckily i got a few 1.6 engines in the back garden. Pretty sure the cranks pulley is same will change tonight.

How will i know if its fucked the crank? If it has does that mean i need a new crank or whole bottom end or what??

Thanks

if its only just started to do it you should be ok.

basically there is a woodruff key that the pully slots on to.

if its worn it will batter the key, and can rusult in the keyway in the crank being made bigger so it will all be loose.

if its come to that (which i doubt) you will need to replace the crank.

Its making a proper racket so im gonna prepare for the worst that my cranks fucked and hope to be surprised. How much is a crank gonna set me back?
