I think that, officially, they only actually have to give you one weeks pay per year of service, with anything above that depending on the company's pay-out structure.

sorry to hear it ranj.

I started a job in october - looking after the football club;s websites, loved it to bits and good money too only to find that by december i was redundant

Well they paid me good money to go also which aint bad considering i was only there 3 months. Then they took me back for the start of feb - just felt like a holiday on full pay (actually more than full pay)

Keep your head up - you will find something sooner or later.
