Seriously thinking of getting one of the above when they come out next year.

Read a few articles online about them but non state how much there gonna be ?

Also, what performance (ie. 0-60) do people reckon it will be giving out ??

Needs to be nippy enough as standard cause wont be able to tune under warranty

Cheers but seen that already doesnt give a price or any inclination of 0-60 etc.

But it's not an RS. Seems to mean something come re-sale time. Look at XR vs ST vs RS values over the years.
Looks like a cracking toy all the same.

2.5litres means much much bigger turbos spinning up at same RPM as smaller ones on the 2litres etc you used to

Bloody great GT35s hitting full boost under 4000rpm, being able to run almost 1000bhp rated turbos with "relative" drivebility, and so on, will be the tits, potential to be the best FWD ford so far for tuning IMHO

Hi ..

Correct - Volvo Turbo engine about 250ps
Incorrect - Its a Ford not a rebadged Volvo
Correct, Focus RS cancelled - Marketing issue.
Some parts are same series or common with Volvo/Mazda.

It'll be a better all-rounder than RS Mk1 Focus, faster too ; )

i wish ford would stop messing about and make a full on balls out motor again. they'll never have the same effect as what the cossie had in the 80s. nice one ford. they say the demand wouldnt be great enough. yea righto. well done vauxhall for goin that extra mile with their performance version. i really hope hte ford beats it tho

Don't like the fact it's a FWD...

But we're testdriving it at the moment and I really think it's a G.R.E.A.T. car to drive
Would consider to buy one!

dont care how good it is still rather have my FRS

how can it be that much quicker when it doesnt have the trick diff, half decent brakes, decent ish suspension etc

How can they make this car for 18-19k when they cut so many corners with the FRS spare wheel, no hot screen, 2 alarm systems and lost money of everyone I think its hype Ford allways promise and then fuck up your telling me this time they have done it right just there putting the wrong badge on it thus i reckon it will be slower than the FRS and not as raw
