Sat at the trafic light halv a mile from home.

Had a quick look at the instruments and almost shat myself when the temp gauge was above the red.

When I drove away it jumped back down and then went up again so I guess the wire is getting contact with earth?

Couldnt double check with the pectel monitor either as im running a different chip at the moment so those 20 or seconds before I realized its was nothing wrong with the engine was really scary. I got the feeling of illness that you get when you are tired of the car.

Well, now im a happy bunny again. Just hate to try and fix it as the sensor is mounted very akward.

Im shure you could use a but plug to keep them "shut".

But am I correct thinking that the wire is shorting somewhere?
