Default F*"king Porsche!!(and f$*king breakdown firm now!!!)

Out for a drive over the N Y moors tonight, top down,22',fucking thing starts mis-firing Got home an hour ago after calling out the recovery truck at 6.30.
Hope it's nothing serious, think it's possibly a coil gone. They have 6 IIRC.

Having a rant now, they took from 6.30pm till 10.00pm to actually get me home. So i rang the Porsche specialists in Newcastle 8.30 this morning "no problem, get them to drop it off,but we close at 12 today for a family funeral",fair comment.
Ring up breakdown firm at 8.45,"Come and get the car, take it to Newcastle(an hour away BTW),must be there by 12pm"
Wagon turns up at 10.30,pushing it time wise.
Just got a call "the garage was closed when the recovery truck got there..."
I FUCKING TOLD YOU IT SHUT AT 12!!!!!!
So it's going to a "compound" tonight and getting delivered in the morning.....i hope they damage it in the meantime....
Sorry,rant over.

I serviced mine last weekend Plynchy, they have a coil pack for each cylinder and there is a 3 pin connector on each one. Maybe just loose - you might be lucky

Not a clue, I do know that if you take the engine cover off on mine and leave the roof up and thrash the tits of it, it sounds sooo mad and soooooo loud it makes your ears bleed!

Have you got induction kits on yours yet? they sound wicked.

I'd never sell mine. 5 years of loyal service, never let me down, the only car I've ever owned that always makes me smile. I will retire the car to my mum rather than ever sell it

BUGGER!
It's not a coil. Looks like a valve has gone! 5 comp. ratios are OK,one has none. No head gasket failure, have had a long chat to the mechanic, and he thinks one of the exhaust valves has blown(holed). Looking at Ł100 ish in parts but Ł100's in labour, and they can't do it for a fortnight.
