Default Group A or 3 layer Cometic Headgasket ???????

I will be needing an engine rebuild soon on the cossie !

I have a cometic head gasket but i am not sure if i shoudl use it or use a
standard group A gasket.

The thing that worries me is, my chip is written for a standard
2wd cossie setup, pistons etc..

But i will have new block and 4x4 pistons etc..

Will the chip be ok using a 3 layer gasket ??

Cheers ,

Al.........

you will need to get the car remapped after the rebuild - you cannot use your old chip unless you want to do another rebuild

The chip has to be the right spec for the car.

use cometic gasket, i've had no problems.

you will need to have the tune checked once all run in, and changed if needed.

I have been told, the Chip will run fine as it was written for 98 Ron Super,
and with the slight lower compression...
