when you put the clutch to the floor most of the time it sticks and to get it back up you have to keep pushing your foot on the ped untill it comes back. i know that when changning gear etc you dnt put the clutch right down to the floor but thats not the point!!!

any clues what could be the prb. im sure its the release arm!!!

 

check the ratchet on the pedal

ps with the pedal down does the car start up in gear without n e probs?

 

not sure i only put it to the floor when i booted it
didnt try it after the car was switched off. no probs with changing gear etc all is good.

just got a price supplied and fitted 80quid that seems a bit steep lol
oh i got my diff sortd in the end me n a mate fitted it, then me clutch went lol
got that done, and now i got a 4x4 bonnet from your mate john, i want it sprayed megenta as thts the col of me cossie but want a good job done!!! john said spray it matt black till i get the cash for a good spray. you recon it will look ok. im not too sure!!

oh the clutch i got is a lot thicker then me old one n a bit bigger in size, could it be an uprated one as i got it of ebay for only 37 quid brand new. my last clutch was done by mr clutch...........enough said about them....WANKERS......LOL
