I have to say that I'm not rascist but if you come to Britain then embrace Britain - dont try and bring your own coutry with you. I hear ya on the Catholisism front. So many religions are currupted by power and they twist their doctrines to proliferate that power. If you ask yourself why Jews can only marry jews and why Catholics dont approve of contreception - it all harks back to the same thing from a by gone era - strength, wealth and power from numbers.

Thats actually a very involved question. It ultimately goes back to whose life would be more beneficial to the world - the loss of that person would be worse.

I have no sympathy for those that do such things without a care of the consequences. I really hope their religion has conned them into thinking the afterlife is as beautiful as they are told, and they end up in some terrible place. And more to the point, think of the suffering they will leave behind for those who do share their nationality and will suffer the reprisals.

Cam - I think you missed the point of what I'm trying to say. I'm saying yes the UK is multicultural and all the better for it but why do certain groups seek to alienate themselves from others then be downright rude and themselves rascist?
I asked why. I reitterate my point that I work and live in a multicultural society in California (I'm affiliated to the Indian office) and have friends of many nationalities and religions.

Lets cut this discussion short - IMO it comes down to this. Some people choose to interpret their religion in a way that incites hatred and that can't be right.

I'm sure many people will have very strong feelings about what happened, but the bombers by their actions, acted in a way that targetted a group, namely "western" people and that is possibly the most undeniable act of stereotyping there is.
Freedom is something we should all earn by living tolerently with others..not blowing them up on a bus, and freedom is a reciprocal thing, not a free ticket to kill those who do not agree with you or your beliefs.
