I agree with keith, i work in derby which is alot like leicester, leeds, birmingham in that it has a big asian community of all the different religions. I've worked with alot of these different religions and most are spot on, infact one of the indian lads called john is a better englishman than most of the lot i work with! but there is still a BIG culture of sticking to there own and not getting involved (embracing britain i think keith put it) with our way of life or traditions, we have to make exception for their beliefs/traditions at the expense of our own

If i went to live in india for example, i wouldnt seek out the english/ex pat communtiy and shut everything else out, i'd do things the traditional indian way and learn the language and try and get by on what i'd be learning of the country i was living in. other wise i might aswell of stayed here!
