5500rpm. Max torque (non-catalyst) 174Nm (DIN) at 2500rpm. 0-60mph
in 9.1 seconds. 30.7mpg on a simulated urban cycle rising to 48.7mpg at
a constant 56mph

if this is the 8v DOHC 2.0 you refer to then I have heard that they dont like to be tuned all to much. at around 200k they will need a head gasket change.
I just drive mine.
they are great on gas mileage and can pull BMw's behind them without a second thought. shoot you can even load a full v6 and the rest of the drivetrain in the boot and it still has no problem.

Mine will end up costing under 2,000 (USD) and I should be pushing 350hp. Just taking me awhile though. Cosworth although a nice motor is not the only way. Alot of those parts are way expensive, especially to anyone outside the UK.
mmmm, i am thinking the Scorpio is going to get a twin turbo also. . .
