ferriday decomp plates
Dave, do you remember the Blue Nova GSi at AVA? Was there for years! It was a 1600 GSi Turbo, and the un-named company that originally turbo'd it had used 2 headgaskets!!!

Dave, the Ferriday engineering decomp plate is basically a copper H/G that you can have as thick as you want to lower compression.
Radient Red, It's waaaaaay better than a de-comp plate. Worth the money.
Dave, I first saw that Nova 7 years ago

Dave......... You nugget. I use copper gaskets on the turbochargers on me ship. 700°C without problems. And thats a constant temp for weeks at a time.
i have just used one, they are a solid piece of copper, you use 1 headgasket of any type you like, the decomp plate is sealed to the block with some stuff he gives ya, it certainly aint the cheap way either as the decomp plate was 135quid, mick rogers etc use them so they must be shit seeing as how his is so slow and dont work properly
with his 10 sec 1/4 miles, because its copper it gives where the rings etc are and seals to the block 100% perfect every time providin its done correctly 'APPARENTLY!'
i will let you know how i get on but mike from ferriday knows his stuff and reckons he has zero probs with them and they work perfect, has anyone heard anything to the contrary or is it just codswallop and chinese whispers
