what is this wire ringed you talk about? and the long studing (never been answered yet), is that jjust drilling the stud holed deeper to take longer head studs?

nice pistons. I need to start looking at my options. . . what comp. ratio are those going to be?

long studing is basically what you said.

the block is wire rung by machining a small ring into the surface of the block which is filled with some kind of ring/wire, as the head is tightned onto the block this forms another seal to help the head gasket deal with the stresses.

pistons are 7:1 JE

Ohh I knew what Wire Rung was. My brain has to be rebooted sometimes.
You must have plans of some scary power by the sounds of what I am reading so far. good stuff.

but how much is enough. . .

I am used to 100hp so 300hp should be enough for me for awhile. But I am also using a OHC head instead of the cosworth in my build. so 300 is a good place to be. I will be running around 8:1 comp though. gota keep it drivable when the turbo is not active (auto-x racer)
