Default Black 1990 2wd Sapphire 80K Genuine miles (advise pls)

Right i know this is in the wrong spot but im unable to get this posted in the 4 sale section

Want some advise on a Sapphire my dad will be selling in the next month
Price etc

Heres the spec

1990 G

80,000mls with loads of history/receipts

Hes had the car for 8+ Years

Good Black Coachwork (me dads 50 and not a great polisher )
from what i no the drivers door could do with a repaint due to the paint peeling due to the door got resprayed 5 years ago due to a failed check strap

When i get it i will get a bodyshop to mop the body as its a bit dull in places

Good leather usaul wear on bolster

Brand New full engine, turbo, clutch from ford @ 60k (receipts to prove)
Loads of other stuff its had in the 8 Years ie brake calipers & discs, starter motor,alternator,4 x ABS sensors, ign module, hoses,LOADS of other stuff i just cant remember

Serviced every 4,000 mls with Mobil 1 oil

As i said hes not a great polisher the car gets a clean once a month etc
But when anything needs doing it gets done

Mods are Adjustible Konis all round, 4"Scorpion, 4x4 bonnet & rear lights

This was running 270bhp when he got it but when the engine went BANG he left the boost at standard as he didnt want another £5k Bill

Its a bit vague as im in Oxford and hes in cornwall so once ive got it up here and cleaned up and had a nose through the history i will repost with some pics

It will come with 12 months MOT and a Oil Change

So how much is it worth ?

Shut up strut brace

Evo, even though you've got a filthy Jap-crap car I'll deign to speak to you

Sure 80K FSH sounds good, but it needed a new engine and gearbox etc when only 60k?? Can't exactly have been looked after that great or... ??

Whatever, bear in mind that the Saff 2WD is the cheapest Cossie anyway, then you say that, basically the paintwork is shite right? Hmm... I wouldn't put too huge a sale value on it. It sounds to me like it'd be worth more to your old man than he'd get if he sold it in today's market.

£3K if you're LUCKY. Sorry

No new gearbox only a full engine from ford at 60k due to the headgasket going and warping the head/block

So the garage advised a full new engine

Dont know on the body front as i have not really had a good look at the car for years

Anyway Thx for the advise Gravedigger

It may be another cossie to break
