Is there a way of removing the pump without the 'ford tool'

looks pretty grotty aswell anyone got the microcat diagram of what can be replaced?

Dave i took mine out just knocked the locking sleeve round with a hammer and flat head screw driver

anyone run aeroquip from an intank pump set up?

im thinking im going to have to get -6 males brazed on to the two pipes outside of the tank?

 

you can make a tool by taking a piece of tubing that will fit over the pipe and into the spring joint. just slice the tubing down one side so that you can open it up and put over the pipe, then close it back up around and slide into the spring joint to open it up. job done.

 

the lock ring is only about Ł1.50

 

just knock the ring round, i've got aero's to the filter and from filter to tank
